There is a selection of local incentives to promote public transport travelling including;

Age-Related Bus Pass

This is part of the national statutory scheme which you can apply for according to age. This entitles you to free travel on buses within England between 9:30 am and 11:00 pm, Monday to Friday and all day on weekends and Bank Holidays. To check your eligibility and to complete an application please visit the Suffolk County Council website.

Disabled Persons Bus Pass

This is a similar scheme to the above, however, to find out if you are eligible and to apply, please head to the Suffolk County Council website for more information.

Felixstowe Area Community Transport Service (FACTS)

This is a registered charity and not for profit transport operator that helps with local transport services. They provide essential transport links to those who may not have regular access to public transport. Click here or telephone 01394 282857.

Travel Voucher Scheme

The travel voucher scheme is for people who can’t access the benefits of free travel on conventional bus services. The voucher value is issued at £100 per annum and can be used on community transport, taxis or private hire vehicles. Click here or telephone 0345 6066171.

Endeavour Card

Are you ages 16-19? The Endeavour card entitles you to a minimum of 25% discount off full price adult fares on participating bus services. Click here.

Student Savers

If you are under 20 and you get the bus to school, college or sixth form then First Bus has a range of discounted tickets for you! You can spend as little as £1.51 per day. Get your student saver ticket by using their First Bus app! Click here.
