Community Travel

St Neots and Huntingdonshire has many ways to explore the local area and surrounding countryside. For those who choose not to walk or cycle, utilising local public transport is a great alternative. Click here for further information on railcards and how to save on train fares.

If you’re of pensionable age or registered disabled you can obtain a bus pass from Cambridgeshire County Council and will allow you to enjoy free off-peak travel (09.30am until the last bus – Mon-Fri; All day Sat; Sun & Bank Holidays) on local buses anywhere in England. If you are unable to travel by conventional public transport, details on community travel such as Dial-A-Ride can be found by clicking here or calling 01223 506335.  This service provides a door-to-door local transport for mobility impaired people who are unable or find it difficult, to use conventional buses and trains. Vehicles and minibuses are fitted with a wheelchair lift and other specialist equipment.
