Bus

Your nearest bus stop is on Towlands Drive, approximately an 8-minute walk. Border Bus operates from this stop into Beccles Town, doing a loop around all local amenities. A further walk away, approximately 30-minutes in Beccles town centre is the Old Market stop. This has the most regular bus services X22 by First Bus, operating to Norwich and Lowestoft. Click here to see the bus timetable.

Bus service 524 operates across Bungay, Halesworth and Southwold. The closest bus station for service 524 is a short 6-minute walk from Barsham Vale, along London Road, next to the Butcher’s Arms pub. Please also refer to the Border Bus website for the latest update.

To check whether you are eligible for various concessionary travel options, please go to the Barsham Vale Community Travel page for details.

If you would like to try out local bus services, don’t forget to claim one of three local initiatives, a £140 Wiggle voucher, a 2 x one month bus pass for local bus services or a one month train ticket to Lowesoft. Just scan the QR code that’s inside the Travel Information pack that’s been delivered to you, or click here.
