Yearly Monitoring

The monitoring period for Farriers Grange has now been completed. You can find the full updated and final Travel Plan here. Overall the Travel Plan can be deemed to be a success as single occupancy car use is lower than the 2011 Census Data and the 2014 baseline survey. There was overall a 5% decrease in single occupancy vehicle use since 2014, which fits with the guidance of 2-6% within rural areas. Great news from Farriers Grange is that the total percentage of pedestrians hit 19.3%! This was up from 7% in both 2014 and 2015.

As the monitoring period is ending, this section of the Smarter Travel website will be closed down at the end of December 2017. In addition to this, the Farriers Grange Facebook page will be closed down, however, if you are a resident of the development and would like to take over management of this page, please contact us.
