Marketing / Travel Plan Coordinator Assistant

We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to come and join our growing team to support the Company’s sustainable transport team and aid in delivering a programme of measures to promote modes of transport, other than the private car. You will be assisting in coordinating and delivering Sustainable Travel Plans for residential developments and workplaces for key clients.

This is a varied role with a mix of report writing (including statistical analysis) along with more creative duties such as producing marketing material for print and web use. You’ll be an enthusiastic communicator, with an interest in a sustainable transport and its impact on healthier lifestyles and the environment.

Ideally, you will have experience in dealing with public interaction. This experience will be used to help communicate the Company’s brand and the ideals of sustainable travel. You’ll need to be flexible, proactive, adaptable and confident in engaging with stakeholders. You should have at least one or more years experience in a marketing field but this role would also suit an individual with a transport planning background knowledge. Experience in coordinating and delivering promotional events would be desirable.

The ideal candidate will also be:

• A great communicator;

• Experienced in report writing;

• A competent Microsoft Office user;

• Confidence in liaising with people face to face and via telephone / email / social media;

• An eye for detail;

•Creative in new ways to market sustainable travel (including social media); and

• Able to work alone and use your own initiative as well as working as part of a team to implement schemes.
